Jesus, a Mexican citizen who is desperate for U.S. citizenship, is the driving force behind this political drama. He opts to join the American military and fight in Iraq in exchange for a green card, but when he returns to the U.S. from the war zone he experiences post-traumatic stress syndrome and begins to question his decision.
