Two underappreciated Gene Hackman performances are highlighted in this rousing double feature. In GERONIMO: AN AMERICAN LEGEND, he and Robert Duvall play a pair of Army leaders who attempt to coerce the Apache warrior Geronimo (Wes Studi) off his land. In UNDER SUSPICION (2000) the dynamite Hackman is Henry Hearst, a wealthy tax attorney who is called back to police headquarters in order to clarify some glaring details in the report of a brutal murder he submitted the previous day.
