Golden Globe-nominated Peter Sarsgaard (KINSEY, GARDEN STATE) stars in this disturbingly surreal Lynchian thriller as the charming yet curious Tom, an oil rig cook who sublets the apartment of the severely agoraphobic Marie (Katharina Wressnig). After being raped just one year ago, Marie hasn't been in the best mental health, and her incapacitating fear is only exacerbated by stories on the news of women being however, even though he regularly lugs mysterious heavy garbage bags into the apartment before locking himself in the kitchen to prepare dinner.
