Dead and Gone

Celebrated horror novelist Harry Shannon's debut screenplay is in the unusually assured hands of first-time director Yossi Sasson with DEAD AND GONE. When retired Hollywood executive Frankie falls into a coma, her unhappy trophy husband, young actor Jack Wade, simply wants to put the regretted marriage behind him...and finally inherit the assets he so needs. How to do that? It's as easy as bringing Frankie back to Jack's cabin so he can quietly kill her and move on. The only problem is, the cabin is the very same one in which a man murdered his entire family 40 years earlier. After doing the dirty deed, Jack begins to suspect that Frankie isn't truly dead, and the lines between imagination and what's real begin to blur for the poor guy. Kyle Gass, one half of comedy-rock band Tenacious D, and horror regular Zack Ward co-star in this scary tale.
